Library of Senses

A library is so much more than you first notice...
You might not always be aware, but when you walk into a library, all your five senses are engaged with the surroundings. Each sense - seeing, feeling, smelling, hearing, and tasting - affects how you react to the different spaces and how you interpret the atmosphere and the activities happening there. If you're aware of this, wouldn't it be awesome if we could design a library that appeals to all the senses? A library that evokes emotional responses in people through a multi-sensory approach?
Rob Bruijnzeels, Joyce Sternheim, and Les Watson researched this and published it on the website below.
